It's busy as always at Pol Veterinary Services, but amidst the chaos Dr. Pol and Diane seize an opportunity to take a much-needed vacation. They're in for a long weekend at the Flying B Ranch in Idaho, where they soak in the great outdoors and maybe even treat some animals along the way. With the Pols gone, Dr. Brenda handles the overflow of clinic cases and farm calls, and allows Charles to ride along with her for the very first time. The Pols are counting on Charles to help keep things running smoothly at the clinic and at home, but hoping against hope doesn't make it so. Charles manages to leave behind a path of destruction that might make this the last time his parents leave Charles in charge.
