Dr. Pol's need-for-speed is both a practical necessity and a life-long passion that started way back in Holland where he was a driving instructor! When he's not tending to sick animals he’s burning up the back roads of Isabella County. First stop is a farm where a desperate mare has been in labor for over two days. Dr. Pol and Charles rush to save mother and foal, but are they already too late? Next, the father-son duo race over to Marshall Farms for a few pregnancy checks but the Marshalls have a little something up their sleeves as well. The Marshalls are farmers by day, but by night they’re amateur racecar drivers. They are just days away from a big competition and they want to thank their favorite vet by giving him a chance to drive a victory lap after the race. Almost as good on the road as he is in the operating room, Dr. Pol can’t wait to get behind the wheel - of course driving will have to wait until the car is complete! As the Marshalls work to finish the racecar, Dr. Pol gets to work helping a cockatoo finds its feathers and fixing the stomach of one feisty cow. It's finally time for the race, but duty calls. Dr. Pol has to make a pit stop at the clinic when an emergency brings Pandora, a dog with a badly slit neck, into Pol Veterinary Services. Will Dr. Pol make it to the track on time or will his racecar dreams be left in the dust?
