They say that the Yakuza puts the organized in organized crime. But make no mistake beneath the polished exteriors, high tech offices, millions of innocent employees and well manicured appearance, lurks the Yakuza of old where extortion, bribery, theft and murder lie just under the veneer like the permanent tattoos that they carry to this day.
